The Financial Managers Society and Connecticut Bankers Association are pleased to announce the upcoming meeting featuring Mike Davis at SunTrust. Mike is going to share on a "Framework for Strategic Planning in the Bond Portfolio." The flattening yield curve was the story of 2017 and likely will continue in 2018. Mike will draw investment lessons from looking back at past periods of yield curve flattening and inversion and help set strategy for the remainder of 2018 and beyond. Mike will discuss bond strategies that depositories can initiate to better prepare for a flattening yield curve environment. Finally, Mike will outline a framework for strategic portfolio management, which will outline the steps taken to implement a formalized forward looking investment plan and how to monitor progress towards plan.
