The Financial Managers Society and Connecticut Bankers Association are pleased to announce a meeting with industry experts to discuss updates on the economy, financial markets & regulatory climate on Wednesday, November 14th. This meeting takes place shortly after the mid-term elections, which affords us the opportunity to address both the developments and trends that have occurred during the past several months, as well as what those that might take place as a consequence of the election results.
Rodger Metzger of Hooker & Holcombe, Inc. will present an update on the Economy and Financial Markets. The Regulatory Update will be covered by Jody Cranmore of Cranmore, FitzGerald & Meaney. Following the presentations, our speakers will be joined by Jon Skarin, Massachusetts Bankers Association and Tom Mongellow, Connecticut Bankers Association for a panel Q&A discussion on post-election buzz.
We look forward to continuing the “Early Talk” program this season as well. As attendees enjoy their salads and prepare for the evening’s presentation, a speaker will provide a short but engaging talk on a current hot topic of interest to financial institutions. Jon Skarin and Tom Mongmellow will provide an update on the Washington scene along with landscapes taking shape in Massachusetts and throughout New England.
